Currently, when I go into another section or a thread, and then try to go back, I have to click the back arrow/backspace several times to actually get back to the previous page. Two or more versions of the current page are shown if I right-click on the back arrow. I use Google Chrome 2, any ideas?

I don't have any ideas. Maybe one day I'll install chrome (when hell freezes over?) and check.

I never use my back button on forums anyway.

I use caching on this server/site to reduce bandwidth, so that could be a reason.

It's only just started happening though, and I would go as far to say that it has only happened since I put Chrome 2 in, though it may be more recently than that.

The BBS software was updated a few weeks ago, I don't know if it is related...

I can't test will all browsers, as long as it works with Microsoft (52%) and Firefox (38%) we have nearly everyone covered.

Besides, I have to wait for an update to the software if the cause lies there.

Touch-wood, whatever you've done seems to have fixed the problem.

Well, I've got a theory that it's to do with the way that some banner ads load - it doesn't always happen, but I can usually tell if it will happen by if the ad flickers as it loads (initially is a white box for .5s)
