Many Methods to Change Read-Only Attribute of Folder Doesn't Work on My PC

Information :
1. O.S Windows XP SP2
2. All Drives are NTFS Format
3. Login as Administrator

Cause of Problem :
I installed 'folder-protector' software called "Folder Lock 6" and "WinMend Folder Hidden" on USB drive, and I was surprised that both of them could be used as portable software...

Problem :
1 days after installation on my USB, I found that all of my folder on my PC and USB had Read-Only attributes, and I knew there's something wrong with my XP...
I've tried to change the attribute by attrib command in CMD, take on ownersip of the folder, add "UseSystemForSystemFolders" key in registry, change my user account (Just like support.microsoft.com says);
but those methods didn't work...:confused:

Question :
I know this is odd stuff for you guys, but this is first experience of mine.
Can anybody help me to change all of my folders' attributes back..??

Thanks a lot

All folders (directories) on XP are read-only by default so you don't really have any problem. That attribute has no effect on the usage.
