Simplest approach might be to install IE8 - you can always roll back to 7 if necessary.

No problem - I've edited the thread title.

Let me rephrase my suggestion :) ....

Uninstall 8 to roll back to 7 - does the problem remain?

It is listed as Windows Internet Explorer 8, not Intenet Explorer - this catches a few folk out :)

Hello PeteC it sounds a bit odd but Windows Internet Explorer 8 is not listed but as I said when I go to about internet explorer it says IE 8.

If you want to roll back to IE 7, you should follow this guide to uninstalling IE 8 on the Internet Explorer Solution Center site - http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/448b12c8-83f3-47c1-aa26-5d4a8e6422461033.mspx

By uninstalling IE 8 the browser will automatically roll back to IE 7. You can try reinstalling IE 8 then if you wish to see if the problem persists. IE 8 has some nifty features that are worth trying out if you can get it working - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/features/faster.aspx

If you do decide to download and install IE 8 again, I would suggest downloading it from http://www.browserforthebetter.com?ocid=ie8_sm_a (8 meals will be donated to Feeding America if you do!)

    I hope this helps,
