My "c:" drive is getting full and the biggest user of space was My Pictures. I read where it's easy to move My Pictures to another disk by opening My Documents, highlighting My Pictures, select MOVE This FOLDER from the menu in the left column, select where you want the folder moved and wait for the magic to happen.

Seemed reasonable to me so that is exactly what I did. Now the move is complete and I have some pictures in C:\....\My Pictures and some in D:\Jims Pictures.

I haven't found any duplicates but I have a lot of pictures. I do have some duplicate folders but I think the content of the folders is unique.

The didn't teach us what to do in this situation way back when I went to school before dropping out in the 5th grade

What to do? I'm thinking if I try moving again I'll still wind up with 2 folders on my D drive. I don't see a undo button. I guess I could erase both and run my backup and start over... PITA.

OR!! I'll ask the knowledgeable group at W-BBS.

If you had any of the pictures designated as SHARED, they will not be moved.

Read the information HERE and it may smooth things out for you.
