I was running 98SE and decided to install W2K with a dual boot configuration. It worked fine. I then decided to keep W2K and was unable to change from dual boot mode. With help from this forum I deleted boot.ini and ran sys C: from the 98 startup disk. Again, success. Now I want to upgrade to W2k and have only one OS. It won't let me upgrade because of 2 OS. How can I get rid of the previous references to or the files of W2K?
    Appreciate your help.

It almost sounds like your best plan would be to backup all your personal files and then redeploy the machine becuase of all the changes you've made to it....thats what I would do if it was my machine.

Make sure you have identified the appropriate drivers that are installed and make sure you have all W2K drivers availble so new installation goes smooth.

    Thanks Jim.
I was just thinking along those same lines. Well, it's backup time and so on it goes...... Thanks for the reply.
