system mech cleans out reg 1st aid

    hi

    my friend recently installed system mechanic and registry 1st aid.
    everytime when he rans sys mech,reg 1st aid will be cleaned away too ( error when he tried to open it).

    any1 has any idea what happen and how to prevent it ?

    If I'm not wrong, I believe that System Mechanic has a feature to delete all zero byte files. If I'm correct, that is the problem since Registry First Aid uses a number of zero byte files.

    See if you can exclude the Reg1Aid folder when using System Mechanic.

    thanks for the information
    i unchecked the "find zero length files "
    and now everything worked great :D
