Over the weekend, I somehow managed to download Windows Internet Explorer 8... and I wish I hadn't.

Is there a way to either download it, or do some kind of "go-back" process to an earlier configuration? My internet access was great until this download.

I have Windows XP, and have done a bit of browsing in my own computer to check for an uninstall option, but all it does is open Windows Internet Explorer 8 and has made it my default browser. As well, it won't let me change that.

I seem to recall something called Norton Go-Back, which I used a couple of times when I first got this laptop (a Toshiba Satellite from 2005) but I do not think I have that on this computer anymore.

Adding to my confusion, our other laptop is newer and runs Vista. And I sometimes get the two mixed up. Sorry.

Please let me know if there is further information needed for this.

    Thanks.

    Jeni
