Norton Clean Sweep

    Hello, I have Norton2001 installed on my PC and I did not install the Clean Sweep feature, but I am wondering do I need to, should I have installed Clean Sweep as well is it necessary.

    It is not necessary to have it installed and I did not install it when I installed Norton's system works on my system.

    Cleansweep does a good job of monitoring installs and then getting rid of all the junk if you use if as the uninstaller.

    After the install, you can view the log to see the files and reg entries that were created.

    CleanSweep also helps rid your computer of all the cookies you collect, as well as cleaning out your internet cache files. Also if you use it to uninstall programs from your computer, CleanSweep makes backup files of the uninstall in case you change your mind after the fact.
