hawk22: I'd like to take you up on your offer to help with translating the German. I've already downloaded and installed Everest 4.60 but need help getting it registered. I've seen the registration page but I'm not absolutely sure what's being asked for in each of the blanks, and I also can't figure out which button(s) to push to complete the job. So step-by-step, if you would, please.

On the page you get to from broni’s link, on the third paragraph where it says go to pro.de via the link here, left click (all left clicks) on that and this will bring you to the site of pro.de
Fill in:
Anrede: Herr = Mr. Frau = Mrs.
Vorname: First Name
Nachname: Second Name
E-mail:
Senden: Click to Continue

Next:
Many thanks for registering,
You will receive an e-mail within one hour confirming your registration (normally 5 min.)
When you get this e-mail from pro.de the first line highlighted:
http://www.whiteletter.de........................................... Click on that to confirm your e-mail address and you will receive within the hour a further e-mail with the Key.
When you receive your second email you will see:
Ihr Lizenzschlüssel lauted: "¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦
Copy that
On the last line with the greetings from pro.de click on that and the download page will load,
On the right hand side you will see:
2. Everest 4.60 Ultimate Edition
Click on it and then go to Download and you are in Business

hawk22: Thanks, that was exactly what I was asking for.

I clicked on broni's link, filled in the required information and clicked on the Senden button, and within seconds they sent a reply thanking me for registering. That was over 2 hours ago. Nothing from them since. That's surprising in view of that first reply coming so quickly. Will I have to wait until Monday to get the key?

 

It's been another 8 hours and still no e-mail reply containing the key. This is what the earlier reply says:

Am I supposed to do anything now other than just wait?

Sven: Well, that was certainly easy enough. I entered the key you provided and almost instantly a window opened telling me the key is valid and thanking me for using Everest. When I reopened Everest, everything worked the way it should, with no pop-up reminding me the program is a trial version and requesting I register it.

I wonder why the German site never got back to me. Closed over the weekend? But, then, they did reply earlier today, thanking me for registering the program. ????
