My sister has issues setting up office 2007 on her laptop. I've just installed her Windows 7 RC 32 bit, and Microsoft office doesn't want to install. We've tried 2 different setups - first one of which doesn't want to start, it claims it can't find some .manifest file (which I checked is actually there). The 2nd setup gives back the 1935 error, which has to do with .net framework. I tried installing .net framework 1.1 because 2.0 won't work, it says it's already part of the system, so I can't reinstall it right, but nothing worked.
One thing I remember doing earlier is I accidentally removed "Microsoft VC Runtime libraries" using the windows install cleanup utility. I was trying to remove C++ 2005 Redistributable if it was there in order to fix a software, which is what worked for myself on my computer before, but it wasn't there so I removed the VC runtime libraries instead, and then reinstalled the software which installed the C++ 2005 redistributable by itself.
I don't know if this has to do with anything, but yeah, I need some help. Uninstalling office 2007 is also useless, when I try to uninstall it it says the software is corrupted, etc etc. I just removed all office entries with the cleanup utility and removed the files from program files.
So, any tips on how I can fix this?

Since you're just testing Win 7 - might consider re-loading it due to the "I accidentally removed "Microsoft VC Runtime libraries" " issue.

So wait, could that be the problem? And is there any way to put these VC runtime libraries back?
