Acrobat Reader v9.1 crashes on XP (Home) when opened. The error message reads application: acrord32.exe ver: 9.1.0.163 and module: msvcr80.dll ver: 8.0.50727.762. I have uninstalled Acrobat v9 and installed v8 - same error. Has anyone run into this problem before and if so have you a fix for this.
    Thanks

I recommend, you unistall Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is an enormous hog, and install FoxIt Reader: http://www.filehippo.com/download_foxit/, which is much smaller, and faster. It does very same thing.

Thank you very much - works like a charm. I had not heard of this program (FoxIt Reader) before but will certainly use it in the future.
    My customer is extremely happy.
Again, I thank you for your help.
