Hi telephonics. What OS are you running and what version of Internet Explorer are you having issues with? Have you tried starting IE with no-addons? (Start< All Programs< Accessories< System tools< Internet Explorer No-Addons). If that doesn't work have you tried opening IE and clicking Tools< Internet Options< Advanced Tab< Reset Button? Have you tried shutting down all background programs that are running in the system tray and seeing if it makes any difference?

    telephonics,

Evan suggested several fixes in two different posts - one being to install XP Service Pack 3. Was it one of the suggestions in the first post that worked or was it Service Pack 3. I am having a similar problem.

I have not installed SP-3. Fix worked without that.

telephonics, I would recommend that you still install SP3 on your system since it adds a few more features to Windows XP and it is a rollup of all the other Windows Updates that were released since SP2.
