I have been using an HP Pavilon ze4941us notebook for about 3 years. It has a Celeron "M" processor - 1.3 GHz with 736 RAM. It has slowed down considerably over past year and I've tried some 'tweaking' and other exercises. I'd like to know if there is a limit to how much RAM I can add to the unit. (In other words, if I add another 500 MB - or 1 GB , will the processer actually use it ... or is there some limit - such that no matter how much more RAM I add, it will only use a certain amount? Comments?

    If you run through the Crucial.com Memory Selector - HP-Compaq > Pavillion Notebooks > ze4900 Series ......
2 Gb is your limit and, yes, the processor will use it as and when required.

The Windows 32 bit limit of ~3.5 Gb does not come into play as your board can only take 2 Gb.
