I have no idea what I have done but this will be a field day.
IE randomly picks to load some stuff while other things it wont load.
A few examples here. I tried to load webroot's website and it wont load I cant load most forums SMF forums being one of them havent tried many others but it wont load most forums.
It did however load proboards without any trouble so I thought it might be loading cgi fine but wasnt loading php fine so I hit another website with cgi and it wouldnt load the website I used was byond.com I dont know how to even go about narrowing this issue down.

I know already its not a virus and its not spyware of any kind its just something that got damaged.... As to what I have no idea.

I did a view source on a page that wasnt loading and sure enough all the information is there its just being displayed.

Edit: I did a bit of searching and it seems eraser ran over night to free up unused space. With that being said I think it damaged a file used by IE I attempted to do a system restore but it seems eraser has cleared all of them too so that leaves me with one of three options that I can see run a windows update and hope it will fix the issue/ remove IE best I can and do a fresh install of it/ format the computer...
    Anyone have ideas?

Ya I was going to run that right now I tried using the windows update option before the sfc though and after that it all seems to work now so I dont know what the hell was going on because I didnt update to the new version of IE or anything and I already did a reboot so no idea still going to run the sfc for the hell of it and see what I get.

Anyway I fixed it so thank you for the input and the help. :)

I like the first idea, go to installed updates, remove IE 8, and then reinstall it. If that doesnt work, you can try running a repair installation of windows , which might work, cuz IE is fully integrated in windows. Its worth a shot I guess
