[Resolved] Blue Screen Error after trying to remove viruses

I've gotten the following stop errors after downloading Ad-Aware to get rid of some spyware and other viruses.

STOP: 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, 0xA818c8d3, 0xba4e7968, 0x00000000)

00001030-Address a818c8d3 base at a818c000, datestamp 49c97a84

STOP: 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, 0xa8c048d3, 0xba4eb968, 0x00000000)

00000e73-Address a8c048d3 base at a8c04000, datestamp 49c97a84

I get the errors every time I try to start up in Normal mode. I can work in Safe mode and removed the viruses with Malware bytes and Ad-Aware but cannot perform a system restore or uninstall Ad-Aware.

These are my logs:

Your computer is infected. Do NOT attempt to use System Restore, because, if you clean something with MBAM, for instance, and then you use System Restore, all infection is back.
Besides, System Restore will NOT cure any infection.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
1. Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
2. Close any open browsers.
3. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
• Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results ".
• Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
• Close any open browsers.
• WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
• Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
• If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.
4. Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
5. When finished, it will produce a report for you.
6. Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**

Make sure, you re-enable your security programs, when you're done with Combofix.

I've downloaded ComboFix and am all ready to go, but the program is saying that my anti-virus software is still running. I've disabled my Symantec Antivirus but the tray icon isn't showing the universal no sign so I still think it's running too. I don't want this to interfere with ComboFix or incur the unpredictable results. Any way to ensure that the antivirus is disabled? Should I try to run ComboFix anyway? Thanks.

Yes, I read it. I can only work in Safe Mode, so I've been disabling within the anti-virus program, but ComboFix still detects it running. I've been able to start up in Normal mode for only about a few minutes each session, and during that time, disabled the program from within, and also by right-clicking the task icon. Although I've unchecked the auto-protect in the program, every time I disable by right-clicking the task icon, it momentarily has the universal no sign, but automatically enables itself again.

1. Please open Notepad
• Click Start , then Run
• Type notepad .exe in the Run Box.

2. Now copy/paste the entire content of the codebox below into the Notepad window:

3. Save the above as CFScript.txt

4. Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe as depicted in the animation below. This will start ComboFix again.

5. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), please post the following reports/logs into your next reply:
• Combofix.txt
• A new HijackThis log.

See, if starting in Normal Mode still creates errors.

Please download JavaRa to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder
• Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions.
• Accept any prompts.
• Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates.
• Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button. Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer.

Note 1: UNCHECK any pre-checked toolbar and/or software offered with the Java update. The pre-checked toolbars/software are not part of the Java update.

Note 2: The Java Quick Starter (JQS.exe) adds a service to improve the initial startup time of Java applets and applications. If you don't want to run another extra service, go to Start > Control Panel > Java > Advanced > Miscellaneous and uncheck the box for Java Quick Starter. Click OK and restart your computer.

When done with updating Java, click on Remove older versions button.
