I have a windows XP PC I am trying to clean up. It has a program known as aMule vs. 2.2.1 that randomly pops up. It is some type of P2P program. I am trying to remove it, but cannot figure out how. It is not listed under add/remove programs or the start menu. It looks like it runs out of the c:\windows\hj3 directory, but there is no uninstall program. Any suggestions on removing this would be appreciated.

Hi mcseadogs. Try downloading the portable version of Revo Uninstaller. When you download the portable version save it to your desktop and then extract the folder. When the folder has been extracted open the folder and launch Revo Uninstaller. Look for the program in the list and click remove.

This one appears to be called aMule, however ;)

The revo uninstaller seems to have taken care of it...so far. It didn't list the amule pogram, but I was able to go to hunter mode, direct it to the .exe and then delete the program directory without any errors. Thanks for the help!
