    Hello All,

I'm using Windows Mail. A while ago I sent a document to a lot of different email addresses in individual emails. The result is I have my Sent Messages filled with about 100 of these. I now want to send another email to all the email addresses but I don't want to have to send them all individually. Is there a way that I can send an email to all of them at once? I tried selecting them all and right clicking, but Reply to All is greyed out.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Jamie

On the basis that Windows Mail, which I do not use, is similar to Outlook Express which I use regularly for such purposes ....

Addresses > New Group - name Group and add individual names to it.

For security create an address Undisclosed Recipient using your email address.

When sending the group mail send the basic copy to Undisclosed Recipient with bcc to the Group.

In your Sent Items folder there will be only a single entry

In doing this the email addresses of all the recipients are not seen by individual recipients and you receive a copy of the mail so you know it has sent successfully.

One point to bear in mind mass mailings can be misinterpreted as spam by your ISP and there will be a limit on the no. of mails before the ISP blocks it. So for 100 recipients I would create at least 2 groups of < 50 each or contact your ISP for their accepted no. for a mass mailing.

Many thanks for your swift reply Pete.

I don't think I was clear enough though. I need to harvest the "To:" email address from every one of these individual emails and add it to one single email. Otherwise I have to go through every single one and copy the address and then paste it into another email.

    Thanks.

I don't think you have any option other than to copy each address into the Address Book and then add them to a Group for mass mailing.
