When I clicked on a New Tab in IE8, it took a long idle time in order to display the 9 most visited websites on one page, because the default was blank.

One of the most visited website had a very low bandwidth, so I wanted it to be excluded. How can I do so? (I don't want to delete ALL browsing history.)

The list of History items you are files on your computer...So low bandwidth wouldn't/shouldn't have any effect.

The history files are located here and can be deletered manually:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\History

Yes, I can access the foler. But I couldn't find the history there. Anyway, I clicked on the Favorites bar > History > last month, last few weeks, and last year, ... then delete the specific history items of specific websites visited. It's the easiest way to kick out specific websites from the "most visited websites" list when I open a new tab.

    Thanks.
