Active Possible Malware Infection

[Active] Possible Malware Infection

I was using IE 7 last night and a window popped up that said I had picked up some malware. It looked like an uncommanded scan started with a progress bar. I wasn't sure if it was a legit message or a phishing lure so I clicked out of it. My computer seems to be running fine but I decided to run the diagnostics anyway.
