Windows Vista "Please wait' screen takes time

    Dear all,

    I have a new brand Toshiba;
    When I boot, it reaches 'PLease wait' screen and it takes quite some time to log into the desktop.

    Took it back to Toshiba support (Distributor), they did a Recovery, still the same issue; Took it back to them, they changed the HD, still the same issue; they installed something like tempro, still the same issue.

    Please advise.

    Well, if Toshiba can't fix their very own, brand new laptop, maybe they should provide you with a new one?

    [SOLVED] "Please wait' screen takes time

    Problem solved!
    I had to open the fingerprint settings and untick everything related to it. Now, Please wait screen is on less than a second.
