When I launch Windows XP, my Outlook automatically launches. And then, less then a minute later it tries to open Outlook again.
In fact it doesn't stop- continuously attempting to load Outlook.
I use Kaspersky virus checker and that hasn't identidied malware.
Based on the repetitive nature of the problem I dabbled with the services - starting and stopping and I discovered that if I
stopped the HID Input Service, the problem stops.
My thoughts on this is it may be a currupt HKEY - but I'm a novice with these things. I ran RegistryMechanic to no avail.
Can anyone shed some light on what's gone wrong here?

Outlook is not in my area of expertise - I've edited your title to be more explicit and moved the thread to the appropriate forum.

I'm typing directly on my laptop, and looking for a key thats stuck which may be trying to open Outlook. I've discovered my cordless keyboard flung behind the desk is still transmitting - and yes there's the offending email key! Releasing the stuck key has solved the problem. Simply done!
