Need Good Scanner

    I want to buy a good scanner. Can you guide me some good scanners.

    I think you have to be a bit more specific as to what sort of Scanner you want and most importantly what type of scanning are you intending to do.

    Hi.
    I want to scan textbooks and photos for home and office purpose.
    I need more specifically flat bed scanner with moderate proce.

    Virtually any flat bed scanner will do the job - I have a Canon, several years old now and would have no hesitation in reccomending that make. The other make to consider is Epson - I have no direct or indirect experience of any other makes.

    If you have no requirement to scan photographic negatives or slides then you do not require a scanner with a backlight facility which adds to the cost.

    like Pete I use a Canon Photo and Negative Scanner and likewise would not hesitate to recommend Canon.
    Also Epson and Mustek are good Scanners.
    (Pete I think Canon should pay us commissions what do you think):D:D

    Definitely - I also have 3 Canon DSLR's + Canon compact + a bagful of Canon lenses - I'm all for it :D

    i have selected two scanners and i am confused which to buy
    i) Canon LIDE 25
    ii)hp scanjet G2410 scanner
    can you suggest me which to buy?

    Over here the Canon LIDE 25 was discontinued some years ago - I would look at the Canon Lide 100 .....
    This is superior to the HP Scanjet G2410 .....
