I'm using the German version ( translated into my native language Dutch )

Still using it for a week now at a second partition of my hard disk ( caused troubles with my F-Secure security at my Vista Home Edition ) I had to hide my Windows 7 conflicting boot letters normally Vista is C and Windows 7 B.
But Windows change this into C for 7 and letter D for Vista.
Dit not happen into the Beta edition which I had before.

Trouble shooter in W7 works good but not excellent for software computability with Vista software ( as Winamp )
Thunderbird mail Version 2.0.0.21 (20090302) not all the add-ons works nows in W 7.
HP Scanjet Hp2400 will with automatic update of Microsoft will be transformed into version GP 2410 .
Solution Center Using of HP Could not recognize these drivers.
Samsung laser printer 300 series works correct.
Using Uniblue ( Microsoft certified ) Power suite of 2007.
for repairing and cleaning system and register .
After installing the first run without installing any software ! This program already found and repaired 189 !! register values.

It is still Windows with a weak register system
Started with computing already in the beginning with MS-DOS.

It is for household use and I'm not willing to became a nerd.

Regarding smoothness and system response, Win7 really got me interested.
At least compared to a 4 year old XP install where thousands of in-/uninstalls have taken place, and became as slow as a salty snail.

So far I really like it, but I cannot get the x64 OS to install or upgrade. Clean install takes hours to install and then will not boot. The x32 OS is running like a charm. Clean install took approx. 20 to 25 min. I'll keep playing with the x64 and try to figure what the problem is. I've read that this loooong install is a problem for a lot of testers.:( Happy Memorial Day to all,

I've been using Win 7 64 bit since its release. It's been running good. Not great yet but good. Oh yeah this is my first attempt at 64 bit. It puts programs in different places than 32bit but I guess like when I first used XP the more I use it the better I will get familiar with it. I've dabbled with Vista 32 bit at work and from this little experience it *****. If the Windows 7 is supposed to B the POLISHED version of Vista well I'll B sticking with it. I also have a machine with Windows XP Pro and have been using it for 7 years. I'm pretty familiar with XP. As soon as I get some free time I will install Windows 7 32 bit to se the difference. All I can say about Win 7 64bit is that IT FLIES!
