If I wish to learn the IP address of my home router and LAN, while I'm away from home, is there a way to do this?

I have a DSL account and I get signed an IP address automatically so if my router has to sign in again, I won't know how to find my particular IP, again, unless there's a way to set up a "beacon" of sorts to help myself find it.

Is there any easy way to accomplish this?
