Can not access an access file over network

    sorry, didnt see the second page of this enquiry until now. Maybe after you copied this it removed the unblocking, Did the access database originally come from an outside source??

    I agree, it is bizarre.
    I did not change any of the things I did that you suggested. The copying must have done something. Like I said, I take it without questioning why or how.

    I did not see anything that lets me block or unblock the file.
    Also, the file was created on this computer by me.
