Windows Vista Can't install SP1 on Vista 64.

    Hello, i got a new computer yesterday and today a tried to install service pack 1 to .NET Framework 3.5. I searched on Google about the problem, but everyone answer different things. So i wonder if anyone of you have had the same issue and have an conclusion for my problem.

    This is the error message i get when installing:

    Are you using Windows Update?

    Looks like you downloaded & trying to install the x86 version:

    I'd suggest using Windows Update to see which updates are required.

    I have both tried with Windows Update and to manually download it from Microsofts website. I have also deleted all the old .NET and tried to reinstall them but still the same problem.

    And yes, i think this is the x64 version because i can't find any else.

    Find error codes associated with the failing update in the WindowsUpdate.log.

    To open this log, go to Vista's Start Search box and type

    %windir%/WindowsUpdate.log

    and press OK.

    Post relevant info here.
