    Hello all,

My device manager is showing my Intel Display adapter with a yellow question mark and telling me that "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37) ".

I went to Intel page, downloaded the driver again restarted but to no avail.
I've also found some info on other forums when I searched google and found that this might be a registry fix. Now I'm scared. Please help.

    Thanks

    Dana

You could look in Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs for an uninstall for the display drivers. Run the uninstall, reboot, then run the new driver installation.

If you have any trouble, go to the Start Options menu (where you select Safe Mode, tap, tap, tap the F8 key at startup) and select VGA mode (Win XP) or the "low graphics" mode (Vista). Then you will able to get to the desktop and run the installer.

After a few restarts, if it is still giving an error in Device Manager, highlight the Display Adapter and uninstall it. Hopefully it will install properly when you reboot.

You will find a set of instructions where you downloaded the drivers, check if there is anything you missed.

    Matt
