Remote Desktop Disconnecting

    hi

    I use rdp to connect to our server in our head office. rdp works fine, but keep on getting the disconect icon in top right hand corner evry 3 - 5 min. Is there any reason why its doing it or is there a setting i can change to prevent this.

    I'm guessing you do the following on the server. Google-> "remote desktop timeout" to find more info.

    Hi Steve

    I already changed the timeout in TS config. But still keep on getting disconnect icon.

    I think I'd be looking at the underlying connection. Are you sure that isn't timing out? Presumably you are using a VPN connection to get you into the network - does that have a timeout?

    There are also policy settings that can come into play.

    Hi

    Also went and change group policy on the TS server. Do i have to change it on client pc aswell.
