Problem opening certain e mails

    My good friend has a problem opening certain types of mail. Mostly from his friends sending you tube type of mail. His OS is XP and has all the updates for it. When he clicks on these type of links it fails to open but he can copy or save it and then open it. Hopefully he will sign up for BBS and get valuable info like I do. Your site is the best and has been very helpful for me.

    You will need to pad out a little more detail .....

    Which emailer client is your friend using - Outlook Express, Windows Mail .... ?
    So the email opens, but the link is apparently dead? If this is the case look at ....

    Hyperlinks do not work in Outlook Express or in Word

    On the basis that your friend is using an MS email client I have moved this thread to the appropriate forum.

    I have sent your reply on to my friend and waiting to hear from him. Will let you know if he is successful with your fix.
    He is using Outlook Express so this should resolve his problem. Thanks for your quick response and have a great week-end.
