    Hi all,

I've noticed that when I want to post a quick reply to a post, when I click Submit, it hangs and the progress bar in the lower right corner stays at about 75%. I have to click Stop, and the back arrow, and then go to the original message. My post is there, but it's the hang time I'm wondering about.

Although, when I click "Go to Advanced" and post, it works quickly.

    SeaMonkey 1.1.14.

Any other SM users notice this?

Don't feel bad. I can't use the quick reply either. I'm using Firefox.

Usually this is caused when you are blocking certain sites that are used by our advertisers.

Quick Reply is a general response, not to an individual, as I understand. I never had a problem with either Firefox nor Seamonkey. My reply is instantaneous.
Is any add-on which is blocking some users on the computers which have issues?

I have "Block unrequested popups" checked and when I went to Edit, Prefs, all the sites that are listed are spyware sites that my various programs have added to the list (like: 007guard, etc.), but as far as advertisers go, I haven't 127ed any of them. And, when I pause over the adwords or click on a link "” no problems.

Well, I won't have any answers for you. Just use the normal reply instead of quick reply.

OK, not a problem, really. Just curious.

Many people are running with a gazillion add-ons & "cleaners" and what not. I can't be bothered testing that all. If it runs & works on a standard install with a clean Windows (no 3rd party tools) that's all I can & will check.
