I am unable to download Adobe Flash Player. Would Windows firewall be preventing this?

Windows Firewall wouldn't prevent the installation.

1 - You must be logged in with administrator privileges to install FlashPlayer.

2 - You must approve the installation in the "golden bar" at the top of the browser window.

3 - You must approve the installation once more in a popup window.

Have all three steps been followed?

You need to pad out a few more details here - Adobe Flash usually downloads and installs from the link on their page - Save to Disk is not an option.

Before installing or updating Flash you must first remove any existing versions using Adobe's tool .....

    Uninstall Adobe Flash

Then install Flash from here ....

    Install Adobe Flash Player

    Christer -

No, but Evan Omo's suggestion seems to have worked.

    Thanks for your input,

    Flash offline install

PeteC - you can download flash for offline install (requires registration and I think you have to be a company, they then send you a link to the msi, I haven't needed it since version 6 or thereabouts). Link here
