Hello, I wonder if I'm asking this question right but here goes. I love Revo Uninstaller and have used it for a good year I think. When I use it to uninstall a program and in the process the programs uninstaller cuts in should I cancel the programs uninstaller and just use revo??? I know I even confuse myself. I just turned 60 3 weeks ago and its happening, old LSD flashbacks Imagine its 40th Woodstock Anniv this Summer! WOW!
    Thanks,
    ~Paul

Revo is supposed to use the program's uninstaller. Revo just gets rid of all the excess files like user configuration, game campaigns, or registry keys.

Jared, so I use both the Programs Uninstaller and Revo's together.
Thanks for quick reply. See I thought by using the programs un I was taking away some of Revo's capabilities. Again, Thanks,
    ~Paul

Paul, If you use the Add/Remove program uninstaller, Revo will not be able to find the program to uninstall.

Always use Revo on it's on and it will do the right thing by using the Program's uninstaller then lets you use the leftover uninstaller functions of Revo to get rid of the left over chatter left by the Program installer.

You will find the very few Programs uninstall all of it's tracks by itself.

Very good Bill, yes I am starting to see that no matter what Uninstaller I do use there is always a bit of the program still left. So I just do a search of the hard drive and delete whats safe.

I would never use a uninstaller that comes with a programme i have installed- it almost certainly will not un-install some parts. As will using the 'Remove' in windows.Use a dedicated programme. Before i un-install i do a search and leave the results window in view just tosee what has been left behind.
