I ran a program to detect any outdated drivers and it was free to scan but it wanted a paid subscription to fix the issues. Do you know of a free program to detect and fix outdated drivers?

The manufacturer of computer or maker of driver provides free updates. You'd just need to go to their site. I ended up subscribing and they referred me for most of them, so do not waste your money.

Be aware that the latest drivers are not necessarily the best - this is particularly true of some graphics drivers - if all is running well leave well alone unless the update addresses a fix for problems you are having.

Thank you for that advice. If it's not broke, don't fix it seems to be a very good motto for Windows.
