USB port problem

    greetings...

    i would like to ask for some help on my current problem on my computer...

    everytime I insert my USB drive to my computer.. it doesn't detect my usb...

    i have tried the help and support on my computer and still it doesn't change a single bit...

    i have followed the instructions.. in microsoft.. still it was not able to solve the problem...

    I have found that power management can cause this. In device manager > right-click on the USB hub into which the USB drive is inserted > choose properties > "power saving" > deselect "allow the computer to shut off this device ". (The " " is due to my computer speaking swedish and I don't remember the exact wording in english ... :eek: ...)

    Try the USB drive in another computer to ensure that it is not a drive problem.
