I need to copy my address book on my desktop XP using OE to my laptop Vista using Outlook. I have been at it for hours and have not found a way to do it. Please advise me the procedure.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

    Search for the file: *.wab
copy it to the other machine - within Outlook select File Import and drill down to the WAB file.

thanks. I downloaded the WAB file to a USB flash drive . I took it to the new laptop, opened Outlook, clicked File, Import & Export, Import Internet Mail & addresses (selected only the addresses), selected Outlook Express 4x,5x,6x, Allow duplicates, identified the removable disk as source and hit enter. I got 0 of 0 adresses imported.

Is there a path in Vista that I can insert the WAB file so that Outlook will automatically pick it up when I open the contacts.
