When I pull up a document I would like to see the full path, but there is no address bar in the window, just the title bar at the very top. Can anyone tell me how I can make the address bar appear? Thank you.

Are you wanting to add an address bar to MS Word or some other application?

In Windows Explorer, MS Word or .... ?

    In Word 2007 .....

Click on the Office globe in the top lefthand corner of the screen > Prepare > Properties

Follow my instructions above - AFAIK that is the closest you will get - unless someone else knows better :)

Pete, thank you but this only gives me an opportunity to fill in the information. What I am looking for is how do I set it up to an address bar showing the full path every time I open a document?

The procedure I outlined shows the document path. I could find no way of conning Word into opening that bar each time a document is loaded.

This document sums up the position and gives a partial solution

    Thank you

    Pete,

Thank you very, very much. I was looking for something slightly different, but this will absolutely and positively solve the problem for me. You have helped me numerous times and I really wish there was some way I could return the favor. Take good care of yourself.
