Take the entire id including the {} and do a search for it in the registry. This will tell you what program is causing the problem.

Open Component services from Administrative Tools and expand the tree to open DCOM Config (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Component Services).

Check the properties of whatever program you have found in the registry. On the Identity tab check the 'launching user' apply and then check your event log.

when i search the registry for (73e709ea-5d93-4b2e-bbb0-99b7938da9e4) it finds nothing. just happened a bit ago with the same error and address. its not even giving a blue screen it just reboots and i have it set to not reboot.

    any thoughts.

You'll need to search for {73e709ea-5d93-4b2e-bbb0-99b7938da9e4}.

You will find Microsoft WMI Provider Subsystem Host.

when i follow your steps and i do find the m.s. wmi provider subsystem host it says zero object found. i assume finding nothing is not a good thing.
