I have uninstalled Quicken from my PC. There were a few programs attemping to start up and I was getting an error so I unchecked them using MSCONFIG and the System Configuation Utility. How can I get these items off of this list? Please email response to g2@g2computers.com if you would please.

    Thanks in advance

I like the Startup Control Panel:

    http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

It has the advantage that deleted items are stored and can be returned if you need or want them.

The 2 most common startup locations in the registry (Run: regedt32) are:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    and

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

And, of course, Start--> Programs--> Startup.
