Castle Cops?

I am seriously saddened about Castle Cops shutting down, there was a wealth of information there and I used that site to check my system regularly.

Is there a backup site?

I just knew that information had to find a home somewhere.

 

look_it_up is a little helper tool I wrote some time ago for querying the SystemLookup site. I dropped the exe in my quicklaunch folder for one click access. Just copy a clsid, filename, service name, etc to the clipboard, then click the look_it_up icon. It will automatically open a new browser window (whatever your default browser is) to the SystemLookup site with your search results. Enjoy

Note: look_it_up.exe has an embedded exe that causes part of it's process to run silently, which is detected by some antivirus applications as a potential threat.
