    Hey guys,

A little background: Over the past three months my computer has been randomly going into these fits of not working were it will constantly freeze up for 10-30 seconds at a time then work for 10-30 seconds then freeze again. To solve this problem I have done probably 7 complete system recoveries to factory settings over these last three months. These have only been temporary fixes as the computer will work for a week or two then resort back to failing.

Its a windows vista 32bit 2gig ram 2.1gig processor and is about 2 years old.

Eventually it gives me a Kernel Memory Dump Error (blue screen) and when I went to try and run the dump through your guys dumpdebug thing, my computer couldn't even handle loading My Computer.

Any ideas on what could be CONSISTENTLY messing up my computer after 7.. now 8 system recoveries?

Is it windows updates? I read about how some guy had a similar problem because somehow he got switched over from a x64 to x86...

You don't get "somehow" switched over from x64 to x86....

You should note what it is you are adding to your system after you do a factory restore that will 'do' this to your computer.

Are you running Anti-Virus software? Is it up to date? Ever run a Malware scan? When you do a factory restore, do you run Windows Update first and immediately after?

Things I am doing after factory restore:

I have installed every windows update.
    I have installed WoW.
I have updated Norton Anti-Virus completely to use that 60 day trail.
    I have updated HP.

Essentially, the only thinngs my computer asks to update... and WoW.

    So...

    1. Try to run without WOW for a few weeks

    2. Don't use Norton AV. Use a free alternative instead, AVG, Avast! or Avira
