ie7

i was using ie7 ok . decided to change to ie8....couldnt open some sites[compatability ??] so uninstalled ie8 and downloaded ie7 and did updates. when try to start ie7 start to show then crashes out. "cannot read xx..." have got sp3 but only download i could find was ie7 for sp2 which i downloaded. is this affecting ie7 or something else??

without taking about an hour or so downloading ie8 again,cant recall exact error message

 

OK, try

Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and selecting Internet Explorer (No-Addons).

Does the problem still exist?

 

tried ie {no add ons} just sits there with top line showing
