[Get asked for product key every time when trying to use MS Office]

Need your help, i have bought laptop november 2008, with vista, but everytime i try to access word or excel etc it asks for the product key code, which i type in, but says wrong code,where am i going wrong

 

Is it a 60 day trial version, that would be expired by now, bit too obvious?
Did you register the product?

Small (but important) point, most new threads are a request for help, if you make your subject more descriptive (eg Office rejecting product key) then you'll probably find more people responding with solutions.

Anyway a few suggestions.

Are you sure it's the Office Product key you're entering and not Vista's (they are not the same)?

It's possible your Laptop came with a trial version of Office and the trial has expired?

Failing the above a call to Microsoft may be in order. Select your region here and you should be given a number to call.
