    Hi All -

Does anyone know of a program that has the ability to show you any changes made in your registry? Kind of like a "before & after" picture but actually show you any changes (from/to, added) a piece of software may have made in the registry during install.

    Just curious. :)

There is a program called InstallWatch Pro 2.5. It will detect added, changed, and deleted reg entries [HKey_Classes_Root, HKey_Current_User, HKey_Local_Machine, HKey_Users], INI files, files in general. It all depends on how you configure the snapshot. It is very thorough in my opinion. It will detect any slight change, giving you the before and after values. This will include any system settings that were changed after the snapshot, ie, display settings that you have changed after the snapshot and before the comparison.
You can get it here for free.
And there is InCtrl4 and InCtrl5 from PC Magazine, which can do the same thing.
However, these are not reported to work in XP.

    Thanks Mark,

I'll give them all a 'look-see' and go from there. :)
