Dee, ill be glad to help you out (as much as i can that is) but instead of giving you direction to follow blindly i will try to explain what we are doing at every step. (feel free to ask for more info/explanation)

-1st thing you will need is to find the "print screen" key on desktop keyboards it would be located right after the F12 key. (laptop eyboards varry but it still shouldnt be too far from the F12 key)
What does print screen do? it lets your computer memorize what you see on your monitor.
-2nd you need a photo editing program there is one bundled with every Win OS.
    were to find it? [IMG]
once paint is open you will need to paste the screenshot you took earlier (right click paste is not available in paint) so you need to press the "ctrl" + "V "
at that point you should see the picture in paint.
Paint saves pictures as bmp by default change the file type to jpg. (remember were you saved it)
at that point you will need an image host personally i use photobucket (require free account but im sure there are others that do not need registration you can google image host and pick any one)
on the image host you should see an upload button click it, a window should pop up and at that point you will need to locate the picture you saved earlier.

once upload is complete the page should refresh and you should see your picture with a line or two of codes, copy the one that looks like this:
    Code:
    [img]wwww.xxxxxxxxxx.com/xxxxxxxx.jpg[/img]
and paste it in your reply, remember we need to see the content of the archive so we know what we are dealing with and figure out why you are getting the error.

I'll leave you in the hands of braindead for the moment - it will get very confusing if there are 2 sets of instructions being thrown at you :)

If you want guidance on the use of Faststone Capture I can do that, but will have to uninstall my existing (much older) version first to evaluate the current version which I have not seen.

Thanks Pete for your help. If you can help me with my communications skills I would appreciate it. Don't know where to start a thread for this.

The General Discussions forum would be best, but bear in mind that if a thread receives little attention it is not necessarily down to the fact that the problem is not clearly stated, but that no one on the Board has a contribution to make. In addition to the experience of Members Google is also our friend :) If it's not on Google it implies that no one else has experienced the same problem, or at least posted somewhere, and we may struggle :)

I haven't done any thing with it since I couldn't get anything to work last time. I have had other computer problems I've been coping with and still haven't resolved. I would still like to know what that message means, any helps you can me would be appreciated.

i cant really tell what caused the error thats is why we were asking for the screenshot.

my best guess would be as suggested already: you might need a specific program to be able to use them.

I tried to get the screenshot as you suggested, apparently I did not know what I was doing as nothing worked for me. I also tried the method Pete suggested and it didn't work for me either.

here is a shot in the dark, i did a bit of searching on Google and it seems there is a version of Gamehouse Games Collection going around that has been made with PowerIso.

If I am correct then the file type would be *.daa and you will need PowerIso to open your archive.

I tried FAQ, couldn't find anything helpful for me there. Will just drop this as a lost cause and move on. Do have one question, if I have unsubscribed from one of my thread, is there any way I can reconnect to it "
    Thanks for all your help.

if by reconnect your asking if you can resubscribe? then yes: you need to go back to the thread in question on top of the 1st post there are several link (just below the number of pages) you will see a link called "Thread tools" you have the option to subscribe to the thread from there.

if you lost the thread and are having trouble finding it you could search for it, there is also a more practical way (IMO) click on your name: Deester to see your profile find the link "statistics" you will see this:

this will take you to a page that displays all your posts
this will take you to a page that displays all the threads you started
