Need a user friendly help as what to do I have two part problem one is that when I am shutdown or restarting and window pops up this window is as follows

" TmProxy exe Application Error "
The Instruction at "0x5e4f44b0" referenced at "0x00000194 ",The memory could not be "read"
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program

The computer will eventually shut down and it has no problem started at this time I have tried a number of times to debug it but it is there.
Also I tried to restore it to an earlier point because this error was not the a couple of days ago but there is no history of restore points which I am sure were there last week as i had restored it to that point.Reading in the forum about create a restore point the following way by turn off System Restore and then rebooting the PC and then turning back the system restore and then tried to create a restore point but not luck with that either
Thanks if some can help please

PS only Programs that have been add are Roxio 9 and Tuneup 1 click Maintenance this week.
    Windows XP with SP 3

    Hi doukie,
It seems that TmProxy is part of Trend Micro. If you run any of their programmes you could uninstall and then reinstall it.
    Keep all serial numbers etc.

    Go to this site:http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
and scroll down to line 278 on the left to Restore/Enable System Restore.

To use the Regedits: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Reboot and see if you can make a restore point.
