   i have 3 comps running on xp with wep encryption.just purchased a vista .wep encryption will not work on the vista.. i put wpa-psk encryption and vista will work...the other 3 will not.. there's no setting in xp to apply wpa-psk is there a software or hardware solution..thanks

   WEP certainly does work in Vista.
   If the XP comps don't have an option to configure the wifi connection for WPA then nthe wifi adapters don't support WPA. But all wifi adapters post about 2002 support WPA.
   
   What error do you get when trying to use WEP in Vista?
