I've backed up an XP system boot drive C using DriveImage XML 2.0.2. (www.runtime.org/dixml.htm)

For want of a better place, I temporarily used a folder on the original C drive to contain the data, consisting of an XML file and a number of .dat files. The youtube video demo posted by the manufacturer (www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTEnKA7tOXM) showed clearly how to do this - but said that information on how to subsequently burn a cd or dvd with it was to be found on the manufacturer's web site.

Well, it's not. Or I can't find it.

So.. does anyone know for sure (ie really had some experience with this program) how to make an iso image from these files? And burn this backup onto a dvd (or series of same, if necessary)?

Have no working expedience with this program (Acronis user). Reading through their F&Q, found the following under Can I write the data directly to a CD/DVD?
The above states if you chose multi-file images, you can now burn them to a CD/DVD (choose a "Data type burn "). Just use your normal CD/DVD burning program. If it is like Acronis, the program created output file is a image file.
