    Dear all

What I am trying to do is to have a RRAS server act as a router for testing purposes. Then a laptop simply connects through it instead of connecting directly to the modem. More details in http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/8708/33266869.jpg

I planned everything as in the picture but still no luck.

What can I be missing here?

    Thanks!

The RRAS server doesn't need a static route as it is directly connected to the two local networks and therefore already knows about them. It also already knows that all other traffic needs to be sent to the default gateway.

The laptop doesn't need a static route, because all it needs to know is to send everything to the default gateway other than stuff for its own network.

Therefore, the only device that needs a static route set is the router/modem. That needs the following:

    Destination 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 or /24
    Gateway 192.168.1.65

Because that is a network it isn't directly connected to and won't be reachable via its default gateway.
