    Hello...

As i have problems with a virus (i made post about it in malware and virus section) i tried to delete it.
so i scaned with norton antivirus in normal mode and it found trojan.pandex then i had to restart computer and i have gone in safe mode and did full scan there (with system restore off) and it found trojan horse in combofix and adaware.livevirus or something like that and i deleted it and restarted computer but when i entered in normal mode again, startup was very slow and it says i dont have audio driver instaled, whole windows (xp,sp2) look like old (classic and all grey u know)
also i cant access lots of windows programs or system restore or even move icons with mouse... i can delete them but not move them... seems like i lost all drivers because i cant even print because seems like my computer doesnt have printer installed.

    any thoughts about this problem?

    Regards,

    Dean

Hi Dean. It seems like the malware that you had installed really messed up the computer :( Try this. Click Start< Run and type sfc /scannow and press enter. Note that there is a space between the c and the /. Let SFC run. Have your Windows XP CD ready in case SFC needs a Windows file. Reboot after its finished. See if you notice any difference in the computers behavior.

If your computer still has issues with drivers and other Windows programs not working then I would perform a Repair Install. :)

You should wait till you get assistance with the Malware removal.
