I ahve three accouts on Vista HP 64-bit. Just loaded my default browser (Maxthon 2.5.1) onto the third accout. Set up browser to use google as my default search engine. Maxthon has a unique feature that allows you to simply select a word or small phrase and drag and drop it onto an open spaces on any web site. This will automatically beging a google search. All my settings on Maxthon and IE7 (M uses IE7 as its engine, so to say) are correct (I have Maxthon's address field also serving as the Google field...do this all the time without any problems until this new installation of Maxthon). Google does come up with my selected word(s) in its search field, but the reply is that nothing can be found. Specifically, when dragging and dropping "maxthon ", I get this message that appears on a goole page:
"The page - www.google.com/search/?q=Maxthon - does not exist." However, if I now click "search" on this page, I then get a full and proper google search. Same thing happens if I type "maxthon" directly into the searech field within Maxthon.

Got the answer: "/" doesn't belong after the "h" in search. Should bewww.google.com/search?q=Maxthon
